Are you in the market for a track saw? Have you been wondering if the Kreg track saw is any good? In this video I go through my experience with my saw and give you some insights on what I like and don't like about it after using it for about a year.
About 1 year ago I decided to purchase a track saw but noticed there were several great options out there. I eventually narrowed my search to 3: Festool TS-55, Makita SP6000J, and the Kreg ACS2000. All of these are fantastic options but I ultimately ended up purchasing the Kreg - and am glad I did!
I start with a saw overview highlighting some features, then dive into my top "good" aspects and top "not so good" aspects. I summarize my thoughts and summarize whether or not I think I made the right decision.
One of the absolute best features of the Kreg Track Saw is the integration with the Kreg ACS. I love this setup so much that I built a purpose-built workbench for it! You can check that entire build series out here: https://bit.ly/3x5AMEx
Summary: I would recommend it! So far it's been a great addition to the shop that I think represents a perfect value for most hobbyists. The pro-level user may benefit from spending a bit more money and opting for the Festool.
