Building the Base for my Kreg ACS (Part 2)

Updated: May 29, 2020

The mini-workbench saga continues.

The compact dust collection workbench progress is moving along with the addition of the dust collection system, electrical setup, Kreg ACS top, storage drawers, and doors. At this point the bench is essentially ready to use, but there are a couple more tricks up my sleeve...

For this project I wanted to continue the trend of build efficiency so I am utilizing 3D printed jigs, pre-configured measurements, and limited "wiring" know-how. Candidly, I have much less time to execute projects based on my new job and our 9-month old son so being efficient has become really important. Be sure to stay tuned for part 3!

I have full build plans available as well: https://etsy.me/3cFMVWx

Key Takeaways

- 3D Printing continues to be hugely valuable in a workshop

- Building drawers does not have to be complicated or intimidating

- Kreg ACS is a winner. For any shop.
